Posted on Mar 20, 2024I am trying to install my new PAX wardrobe, but I'm having trouble with the mirror glass door not closing properly. The door is hitting the adjacent wall and won't close all the way. How can I adjust or modify the door hinges to fix this issue?

Answered on Mar 22, 2024To adjust the mirror glass door so it closes properly without hitting the adjacent wall, you can try the following steps:
1. First, check if the wardrobe frame is level and properly secured to the wall. Use the adjustable feet to level the frame if needed.
2. Examine the door hinges. The hinges on the PAX wardrobe have integrated dampers that allow you to adjust the door alignment. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges.
3. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to shift the door inwards or outwards as needed. This will help reposition the door so it no longer hits the wall.
4. Make small adjustments, testing the door closure after each change, until you achieve a proper fit where the door closes smoothly without any obstruction.
5. If the issue persists, you may need to slightly adjust the positioning of the entire wardrobe frame on the wall to create the necessary clearance for the door.
Take your time with the adjustments and test the door closure after each step. This should help you resolve the issue with the mirror glass door not closing properly
