Posted on Jan 05, 2024I'd like to ask for help with assembling the Skytta/Pax walk-in wardrobe. The instructions seem unclear and I'm having trouble understanding how to attach the door frames to the railings. Can you provide a more detailed guide or suggest any resources that can assist me in completing this task?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 07, 2024To attach the door frames to the railings, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the rails are securely mounted to the wall according to the instructions.
2. Identify the door frames and hardware needed for your specific configuration. The frames should have pre-drilled holes to align with the rail system.
3. Lift the door frame and position it so the holes in the frame line up with the corresponding holes in the rail.
4. Use the provided screws and hardware to firmly attach the door frame to the rail. Make sure the frame is level and secure.
5. Repeat this process for each door frame, ensuring they are properly aligned and tightened.
6. Once all frames are attached, you can install the sliding doors according to the instructions.
If you're still having trouble, refer to the online IKEA assembly guides or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide more detailed step-by-step guidance

Posted on Nov 01, 2023I would like to ask, what is the recommended maximum weight capacity of the sliding doors in this wardrobe?
And are there any specific requirements or recommendations for assembling the doors in a particular order to ensure stability and proper function?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Nov 03, 2023The recommended maximum weight capacity for the sliding doors in this SKYTTA / PAX walk-in wardrobe is 66 lbs (30 kg) per door.
For assembling the doors, IKEA recommends that you should be able to reach and open anything being stored behind the doors. There are no specific requirements for the order of assembly, but it's important to ensure the doors can slide smoothly and be easily accessed

Posted on Oct 25, 2023I have a question regarding the SKYTTA / PAX Walk-in wardrobe with sliding doors. How do I adjust the door runners so that they are perfectly aligned and functioning smoothly? I've noticed that one of the doors is slightly uneven when it opens/closes, causing some resistance and noise
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 27, 2023To adjust the door runners and ensure the doors are aligned and functioning smoothly, follow these steps:
1. Locate the adjustment screws on the top and bottom of the door frame. These screws allow you to adjust the position of the door.
2. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise or counterclockwise to move the door frame up, down, left or right until the door is properly aligned and moves smoothly.
3. Check that the door is level and the gaps between the door and frame are even on all sides.
4. If needed, you can also adjust the door stopper screws to fine-tune the door's closing and opening motion.
5. Once the door is aligned, ensure all screws are tightened securely to maintain the adjusted position.
Test the door's movement and make any additional minor adjustments until it opens and closes smoothly without resistance or noise
