I am having some issues with the glass sliding doors. They are not sliding smoothly and there is a bit of resistance when I try to open them. Is this due to the hinges or something else?
Are there any adjustments or maintenance tips that you can recommend to fix this issue?

The issue with the sliding doors not sliding smoothly is likely due to the sliding mechanism, not the hinges. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the sliding tracks: Ensure the tracks that the doors slide on are free of debris, dirt or obstructions. Clean the tracks thoroughly with a soft cloth.

2. Lubricate the sliding mechanism: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the sliding tracks. This will help reduce friction and allow the doors to glide smoothly.

3. Adjust the door rollers: There may be adjustable rollers or wheels at the bottom of the doors. Try loosening or tightening these slightly to see if it improves the sliding motion.

4. Ensure the doors are aligned: Check that the doors are properly aligned in the frame. If they are uneven, you may need to adjust the hinges or sliding mechanism to get them aligned properly.

Following these steps should help resolve the issue with the sliding doors. Let me know if you have any other questions

I love the design and functionality of this storage cabinet. I was wondering if there are any issues with assembling it? I've heard that some Ikea products can be tricky to put together, but how is the experience with HAVSTA? Are the instructions clear and easy to follow?

To assemble the HAVSTA storage unit with sliding glass doors, please follow these steps:

1. Lay out all the components and hardware included in the package and ensure you have everything needed.

2. Start by attaching the side panels to the top and bottom shelves. Secure them using the screws provided.

3. Next, install the center support panel by aligning it with the pre-drilled holes and screwing it in place.

4. Attach the sliding door tracks to the top and bottom shelves, ensuring they are properly aligned.

5. Carefully place the tempered glass shelves into the side panel grooves, making sure they are level.

6. Install the sliding doors by hooking them onto the tracks and adjusting them to ensure smooth operation.

7. Finally, attach the toekick at the bottom to complete the assembly.
