Posted on Jan 03, 2024I love the design and features of this sofa, but I have a question about the chaise lounge attachment. Is it possible to attach the chaise to either side of the sofa or does it only fit on one specific side? Also, are there any issues with the armrests getting in the way when attaching the chaise?

Posted on Nov 11, 2022I just received my KIVIK sofa with chaise, and I'm having trouble assembling the armrests. Can you provide more detailed instructions on how to attach them? Additionally, are there any specific tools required for assembly?

Answered on Nov 13, 2022To attach the armrests on the KIVIK sofa with chaise, follow these steps:
1. Locate the metal brackets on the underside of the sofa frame where the armrests will connect.
2. Position the armrest so the metal connectors on the armrest align with the brackets on the sofa.
3. Firmly press the armrest down until you hear it click into place, securing it to the frame.
4. Repeat this process for the other armrest.
No special tools are required for this assembly. You can use a standard Phillips head screwdriver if needed to tighten any screws, but the armrests should attach securely without the need for tools.
If you encounter any difficulty, double-check that the armrest connectors are properly aligned with the brackets on the sofa frame. Apply firm, even pressure when pressing the armrest down to ensure it clicks into place.
