SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.
The various sections of the seating series can be connected together in different combinations or used separately.
This cover is made of Fridtuna, a sturdy cotton and polyester fabric with a deep texture woven in different tones.
You can sit in comfort with a slight, pleasant resilience thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.

Posted on Apr 03, 2024I'm interested in purchasing the SÖDERHAMN Sectional, but I'd like to know if it's possible to add more than one chaise lounge to the set. Is it compatible with other configurations of the SÖDERHAMN series, or would I need to purchase separate pieces?

Posted on Jul 23, 2023I love the SÖDERHAMN sectional, and I'm planning to use it in my living room. However, I noticed that the fabric is prone to pilling.
Is there any way to prevent or reduce this issue?
Can I use a fabric protector or something similar to maintain its appearance?

Answered on Jul 25, 2023To help prevent or reduce pilling on the SÖDERHAMN sectional fabric, you can try the following:
Use a fabric shaver or pill remover to gently remove any existing pills. Be careful not to damage the fabric.
Apply a fabric protector spray. Look for one specifically designed for cotton and polyester blends. This can help create a protective barrier against pilling.
Vacuum the sofa regularly using the upholstery attachment to remove any loose fibers before they start to pill.
Avoid placing the sofa in direct sunlight, as UV exposure can contribute to pilling.
When cleaning, use a mild detergent and avoid excessive agitation during the wash cycle. Air dry the cover instead of using a clothes dryer.
With proper care and maintenance, you can help extend the life of the SÖDERHAMN's Fridtuna fabric and minimize pilling issues
