Durable metal springs in the seat give the sofa a springy comfort, allowing you to sit, relax and enjoy it for many years.
The fixed Bomstad cover is made of a durable material that is both smooth and strong. The material consists of polyester and cotton and has a protective coating of polyurethane.
The cover is easy to keep clean as it can be wiped with a damp sponge or a mild detergent.

Posted on Dec 05, 2023I've had my KLIPPAN loveseat for about 5 years now and it's still going strong. However, I've noticed that the springs have started to sag a bit in the middle. Is there anything I can do to adjust or replace them?

Answered on Dec 07, 2023The springs in the KLIPPAN loveseat are not designed to be user-adjustable or replaceable. If the springs have started to sag after 5 years of use, this is normal wear and tear. To address the sagging, you have a few options:
1. Flip and rotate the cushions regularly to help distribute the wear more evenly. This can help prolong the life of the springs.
2. Consider purchasing a new seat cushion insert. IKEA sells replacement cushion inserts that can help restore the firmness and support of the seat.
3. As a last resort, the loveseat may need professional repair or reupholstering if the sagging becomes excessive. An upholstery specialist can assess the frame and replace the springs if necessary.
With proper care and regular use of the cushions, you should be able to continue enjoying your KLIPPAN loveseat for many more years
