1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the sofa frame where the legs will be attached.
2. Identify the correct leg pieces. The legs should have threaded inserts that match the holes on the frame.
3. Carefully align each leg with the corresponding hole on the frame, making sure the threads line up properly.
4. Using a screwdriver or hex wrench, gently screw each leg into the frame, turning it clockwise to tighten. Do not overtighten.
5. Double-check that all legs are securely attached and the sofa is stable before proceeding with the rest of the assembly.

Answered on Oct 14, 2023The armrest height on the SMEDSTORP sofa is fixed at 26 3/8" (67 cm) and cannot be adjusted. The armrests are not removable either. They are part of the sofa's design and construction and do not have any adjustable features
