Posted on Jan 07, 2024I recently purchased the Morabo 5-seat sofa with chaises in Gunnared dark gray/metal. I love the overall design and quality of the sofa, but I'm having some issues with the armrests. They seem to be loose and sometimes fall off when someone is sitting on the sofa. Is there a way to tighten them or adjust them so they stay in place?

Answered on Jan 09, 2024To tighten the loose armrests on your MORABO 5-seat sofa:
1. First, locate the screws or bolts that attach the armrests to the sofa frame. These are usually hidden under the armrest cover.
2. Use the appropriate screwdriver or wrench to gradually tighten the screws or bolts. Do not overtighten, as this could damage the armrest or sofa frame.
3. If the armrest is still loose after tightening the screws, you may need to adjust the metal brackets that connect the armrest to the frame. Gently bend the brackets to align the armrest more securely.
4. Once the armrest is firmly in place, test it by applying some weight and ensuring it does not move or fall off.
5. Repeat these steps for any other loose armrests on your MORABO sofa.
If the issue persists, you may need to contact IKEA customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replacement parts if needed

Posted on Dec 25, 2023I recently purchased the Morabo 5-seat sofa with chaises in Gunnared dark gray/metal and I'm loving it so far! However, I've noticed that the armrests are quite wobbly. Is there anything specific I can do to stabilize them or is this a common issue with this particular model?
