Answered on Sep 07, 2023To remove the SÖDERHAMN cover from the packaging without damaging it, follow these steps:
1. Carefully open the packaging, taking care not to tear or cut the cover fabric.
2. Gently pull the cover out of the packaging, unfolding it slowly and smoothly.
3. Locate the zipper on the cover and ensure it is fully unzipped before attempting to remove the cover.
4. Carefully lift the cover and gently pull it off the sofa frame, taking care not to stretch or pull the fabric excessively.

Answered on Dec 28, 2022To prevent the SÖDERHAMN cover from shrinking after washing, here are a few tips:
- Wash the cover in cold water on a gentle cycle. Hot water can cause the fabric to shrink.
- Avoid putting the cover in the dryer. Instead, air dry it flat or hang it to prevent further shrinkage.
- If the cover has already shrunk, you can try gently stretching it back out while it's still damp. Carefully pull on the fabric to return it to the original size.
- In the future, you can also try washing the cover with similar colors to minimize agitation and shrinkage.
