Posted on Nov 25, 2023I am having issues with one of the drawers not closing properly, it gets stuck halfway and I have to pull it out completely to get it to close. What could be causing this issue? Is there a possible solution or adjustment that can be made to fix this problem?

Answered on Nov 27, 2023The issue you're experiencing with the drawer not closing properly is likely due to misalignment or obstruction within the drawer glides. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and fix the problem:
1. Check the drawer glides: Ensure the glides are properly installed and not damaged or obstructed. Wipe down the glides to remove any debris that may be causing friction.
2. Adjust the drawer alignment: There are usually adjustment screws on the drawer front or the cabinet frame that allow you to fine-tune the drawer alignment. Try adjusting these screws to center the drawer and ensure it's closing smoothly.
3. Lubricate the glides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the drawer glides. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawer to slide in and out more easily.
4. Inspect the drawer box: Check if the drawer box itself is warped or damaged, as this can also cause the drawer to bind. If the drawer box is the issue, you may need to replace it.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the problem with the drawer not closing properly. Let me know if you have any other questions
