This comfortable sofa has pocket spring seat cushions with high resilience foam and a top layer of wadding. It provides a nice comfort and support for your body while maintaining the shape of the seat cushions.
The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.
The sofa's sections can be combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you. If you ever need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two.

Answered on Nov 29, 2022The GRANN leather used on the FINNALA Loveseat section can be cleaned and maintained. IKEA recommends using a mild soap and water solution to clean the leather. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the leather. Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dirt or spills. Allow the leather to air dry completely before use. To maintain the leather's appearance, you can occasionally apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or protector. This will help keep the leather supple and prevent it from drying out over time

Answered on Nov 28, 2022The BOMSTAD fabric used on the FINNALA Loveseat section is not suitable for outdoor use. It is a coated fabric that is designed for indoor use only. The GRANN leather used on the contact surfaces may be more durable for outdoor use, but the BOMSTAD fabric would not withstand weather and UV exposure well if used outdoors. This sofa is intended for indoor living room or family room settings, not for outdoor patio or garden use
