Posted on Mar 04, 2023I've had this ottoman cover for a while now and it's been great, but I recently spilled some red wine on it. Can I still machine wash it or will that ruin the fabric?

Answered on Mar 06, 2023The SÖDERHAMN ottoman cover can be safely machine washed even if it has a red wine stain. The Viarp fabric is durable and designed to be machine washable. Simply remove the cover, pretreat the stain with a stain remover, and then wash it on a gentle cycle using cold water. Avoid using hot water or putting it in the dryer, as that could damage the fabric. Air dry the cover, and it should come out looking as good as new
