Posted on Mar 09, 2024I would like to know if the wooden legs can be replaced with metal or plastic legs, and if so, are they available separately from the manufacturer?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Mar 11, 2024The wooden legs of the MORABO chaise longue are an integral part of the design and cannot be easily replaced with metal or plastic legs. The legs are attached directly to the frame and are not designed to be interchangeable. IKEA does not offer alternative leg options for this specific product. The wooden legs are an essential component that contribute to the overall look and style of the MORABO chaise. Replacing them would require modifying the frame, which is not recommended and would likely void the product's warranty

Posted on May 12, 2023I'm looking to assemble the MORABO chaise longue, but I noticed that some of the legs are slightly bent. How do I adjust them without compromising the stability and structure of the piece?

Answered on May 14, 2023To adjust the slightly bent legs on your MORABO chaise longue without compromising the stability and structure, try the following:
1. Locate the affected legs and identify the direction of the bend. Gently try to straighten the legs by hand, applying even pressure.
2. If the bend persists, you can try using a rubber mallet to carefully tap the leg in the opposite direction of the bend. Apply light taps and check the alignment after each one.
3. Ensure the leg is securely attached to the frame. Tighten any loose screws or bolts to stabilize the leg.
4. If the bend is severe, you may need to replace the leg. Contact IKEA customer service to order a replacement part.
5. Once the legs are properly aligned, double-check that the chaise is level and stable before completing the assembly.
Take care not to apply excessive force, as this could damage the leg or the frame. With some gentle adjustments, you should be able to get your MORABO chaise longue assembled securely
