Posted on Oct 05, 2023I recently purchased the Morabo Ottoman, Grann/Bomstad golden brown/wood. I noticed that the coated fabric on the ottoman is already showing signs of wear and tear, despite minimal use. Is it covered under the 10-year limited warranty? Can I get a replacement or repair for this issue?

Answered on Oct 07, 2023The MORABO Ottoman, Grann/Bomstad golden brown/wood is covered under the 10-year limited warranty. If the coated fabric is showing signs of wear and tear despite minimal use, this would likely be considered a defect covered by the warranty. You should be able to get a replacement or repair for this issue free of charge. I would recommend contacting IKEA customer service to file a warranty claim and arrange for a repair or replacement of the affected part

Answered on Jul 17, 2022To clean the Grann leather and Bomstad fabric on your MORABO ottoman, we recommend the following:
For the Grann leather, use a mild soap and water solution. Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth, being careful not to soak the leather. Avoid using harsh cleaners or abrasives, as they can damage the leather. After cleaning, buff the leather with a dry cloth to restore the shine.
For the Bomstad fabric, you can use a mild, water-based upholstery cleaner. Apply the cleaner to a clean cloth and gently dab the fabric, avoiding any rubbing or scrubbing. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before use. Avoid using solvent-based cleaners, as they can break down the coated fabric over time.
