You mention that they are removable, which sounds convenient for cleaning and rearranging the space. However, I'm worried that removing them might make the sofa look unfinished or awkward. Can you please provide more information on how the armrests attach to the sofa and what kind of screws or clips are used? Is it easy to reattach them if needed?

Answered on Jan 05, 2024The KIVIK sofa's armrests are designed to be easily removable and reattachable. They connect to the main sofa frame using a simple clip-on mechanism, without any visible screws or hardware.
To remove the armrests, you simply lift them up and off the frame. This makes it very convenient to clean the sofa or rearrange the layout. When you want to reattach the armrests, you simply align them with the frame and press them down firmly until you hear them click into place.
The armrests are securely held in place by the clip-on system, so you don't need to worry about them feeling loose or unstable. You can remove and reattach the armrests as needed without any impact on the sofa's overall appearance or structure
