Posted on Aug 04, 2022I recently purchased the SEKTION Base cabinet with 4 drawers in white Maximera/Voxtorp walnut. I'm having trouble adjusting the drawers to fit perfectly. The leftmost drawer doesn't slide in smoothly and seems a bit stuck. Can you provide guidance on how to adjust or lubricate the drawer runners to ensure smooth operation?

Answered on Aug 06, 2022To adjust the leftmost drawer that is not sliding smoothly, try the following steps:
1. First, fully extend the drawer and examine the drawer runners. Check if there is any debris or obstructions preventing the smooth movement.
2. If the runners appear clean, try adjusting the tension of the drawer runners. There are small adjustment screws located on the drawer runners that control the tension. Gently turn the screws clockwise to increase the tension and counterclockwise to decrease it. Make small adjustments and test the drawer movement after each adjustment.
3. If the adjustment screws don't resolve the issue, you can try lubricating the drawer runners. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the length of the runners. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract dust and grime over time.
4. Once lubricated, fully extend and retract the drawer several times to distribute the lubricant evenly along the runners.
After making these adjustments, the leftmost drawer should now slide in and out smoothly. If the issue persists, please let me know, and I can provide further troubleshooting steps
