Posted on Mar 10, 2023I recently purchased the Uppland sofa with chaise lounge and I'm very happy with it, but I have a question. How do I remove the back cushions?
Are there any specific instructions or techniques that I should follow to avoid damaging them?

Answered on Mar 12, 2023To remove the back cushions on the UPPLAND sofa with chaise lounge:
1. Locate the zippers on the back of the cushions. There should be a zipper running along the bottom edge of each back cushion.
2. Carefully unzip the cushion covers. Take care not to pull or tug on the fabric excessively.
3. Once the zippers are fully opened, you can gently lift the cushion covers off the back of the sofa frame.
4. When replacing the cushions, simply place them back in position and zip up the covers. Make sure the cushions are aligned properly before zipping them up.
Be gentle when removing and replacing the cushions to avoid any damage to the fabric or the cushion fillings. With some care, you can easily take the back cushions on and off as needed to clean or rearrange the sofa

Posted on Jan 16, 2023I recently purchased the UPPLAND sofa with chaise lounge in Hillared beige. I love the overall design and comfort of the sofa, but I'm having trouble removing the cover for washing. The instructions provided are not clear and I'm worried about damaging the fabric or the sofa structure if I try to force it off. Can you please provide more detailed guidance on how to remove the cover without causing damage?

Answered on Jan 18, 2023To remove the cover on the UPPLAND sofa with chaise lounge without causing any damage, follow these steps:
1. Start by locating the zippers on the back and sides of the sofa. There should be zippers running along the back and down the sides where the seat cushions meet the back and arm rests.
2. Carefully unzip the zippers all the way around the sofa. This will allow you to start detaching the cover from the sofa frame.
3. Once the zippers are open, gently pull and lift the cover upwards, starting from the back and working your way around the sides. The cover should come off relatively easily without requiring any forceful tugging.
4. Be careful not to pull too hard on the fabric, as this could damage the material. Take your time and work slowly to remove the cover in one piece.
5. Once the cover is removed, you can machine wash it using a mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Refer to the care label for any specific washing instructions.
6. When it's time to put the cover back on, simply reverse the process - start at the back and work your way around, zipping up the cover as you go.
