Posted on Dec 09, 2022I'm interested in the UPPLAND Loveseat, but I have a concern about the size. According to the dimensions provided, the seat width is 51 5/8" and the armrest width is 9 7/8". Are these measurements accurate? Does anyone know if there's an error or if this is just how it was designed to be?

Posted on Aug 19, 2022I'm interested in purchasing the UPPLAND Loveseat, but I have a small living room and was wondering if it would fit comfortably. Can you provide measurements of the clearance space needed around the loveseat to ensure proper ventilation and ease of movement? Additionally, are there any specific dimensions I should be aware of when placing it near other furniture pieces, such as a TV stand or coffee table?

Answered on Aug 21, 2022The UPPLAND Loveseat has the following dimensions that you should consider for your small living room:
Width: 71 5/8" (182 cm)
Depth: 36 1/4" (92 cm)
Height: 36 1/4" (92 cm)
To ensure proper ventilation and ease of movement around the loveseat, I recommend leaving at least 6-8 inches of clearance on all sides. This will provide enough space for air circulation and for people to walk around the furniture comfortably.
When placing the loveseat near other furniture pieces, such as a TV stand or coffee table, make sure to leave a minimum of 12-15 inches of space between them. This will prevent the loveseat from feeling cramped and allow enough room to move around easily.
Additionally, the height of 36 1/4" should provide enough clearance for most TV stands and coffee tables, but be sure to measure the heights of your existing furniture to confirm they will not interfere with the loveseat

Posted on Jul 31, 2022I am having trouble with the reversible back cushions. They no longer stay in place and keep sliding down. Is there a way to reattach them or is this a manufacturing defect?

Answered on Aug 02, 2022The issue with the reversible back cushions sliding down is likely due to the cushion covers not fitting snugly enough. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check if the cushion covers are properly zipped up. Ensure the covers are fully closed to keep the cushions in place.
2. Try adjusting the position of the cushions and smoothing out any wrinkles or folds in the covers. This can help them stay in place better.
3. If the covers still seem loose, you can try adding velcro strips or snap fasteners to the back of the cushions and the sofa frame. This will help secure the cushions and prevent them from sliding.
4. As a last resort, you may need to contact IKEA customer service. This could be a manufacturing defect, and they may be able to provide a replacement set of cushions or covers under the 10-year warranty.
