Posted on Jul 16, 2023I have a UPPLAND sectional sofa and the armrests are quite high for me, is there any way to adjust or remove them? I'm finding it difficult to put my arms around the back of the couch.

Answered on Jul 18, 2023The UPPLAND sectional sofa does not have adjustable armrests. The armrest height is fixed at 26 3/4" (68 cm) and cannot be lowered. However, you may be able to remove the armrests if needed. Here are the steps to remove the armrests:
1. Locate the screws underneath the armrest that attach it to the sofa frame. There are typically 2-3 screws per armrest.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove all the screws securing the armrest.
3. Carefully lift off the armrest from the sofa frame.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other armrest.
After removing the armrests, you should be able to more easily place your arms around the back of the sofa. Keep in mind that removing the armrests will alter the overall look and structure of the UPPLAND sectional. If you want to restore the armrests later, make sure to keep the screws in a safe place
