Posted on Nov 04, 2023I'm having trouble with the faucet's aerator device. Water is coming out in a strong stream instead of being aerated. How can I fix this?

Answered on Nov 06, 2023To fix the issue with the strong water stream, you'll need to check and potentially clean the aerator device on the faucet. Here are the steps:
1. Turn off the water supply to the faucet.
2. Unscrew the aerator from the end of the faucet spout. You may need pliers or a wrench to loosen it.
3. Remove any debris or buildup inside the aerator. You can soak it in vinegar if there's a lot of mineral buildup.
4. Reattach the clean aerator to the faucet spout and turn the water supply back on.
This should restore the aerated water flow. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the aerator. Refer to the HEMNES faucet instructions or contact IKEA for further guidance on replacement parts
