Posted on May 29, 2023I recently purchased the ESSEBODA sofa and I'm having trouble removing the fabric covering from the buttons on the arms.
Is there a specific technique or tool recommended to make it easier?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on May 31, 2023To remove the fabric covering from the buttons on the ESSEBODA sofa, you can try the following:
Use a small, flat-head screwdriver or a butter knife. Gently insert the tool under the edge of the fabric covering the button and pry it up. Work your way around the button to loosen the fabric until you can pull it off completely. Be careful not to damage the button or the fabric.
Alternatively, you can use a small pair of sharp scissors to carefully snip the fabric around the button, cutting as close to the button as possible. This may be a quicker method, but requires more precision to avoid cutting the button itself.
Go slowly and take your time to avoid any rips or tears in the fabric. With a bit of patience, you should be able to remove the fabric coverings without issue

Posted on Dec 25, 2022I have just received my ESSEBODA 3-seat sofa and I am very happy with it. However, the fabric seems to be getting slightly worn on the arms already, even though it's only been a few weeks since I got it. Is there any way to clean or maintain this fabric to prevent further wear?
