Posted on Nov 03, 2023I was wondering how to attach the legs to the sofa frame? The instructions didn't seem very clear and I don't want to damage the frame or the legs during assembly. Can you provide more detailed instructions on how to do this correctly?

Answered on Nov 05, 2023To attach the legs to the MORABO sectional sofa frame, follow these steps carefully:
1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the sofa frame where the legs will be attached.
2. Align the threaded end of the leg with the corresponding hole on the frame. Make sure the leg is positioned correctly.
3. Using a screwdriver or hex wrench, gently screw the leg into the frame, turning it clockwise. Do not overtighten.
4. Repeat this process for each of the remaining legs, ensuring they are all securely attached.
5. Once all legs are in place, double-check that they are firmly installed and the sofa is stable before proceeding with the rest of the assembly.
Take your time and do not force the legs into the frame to avoid damaging the product. If you encounter any issues, refer back to the instruction manual or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance

Posted on Dec 23, 2022I'm having trouble with the legs on my MORABO sofa and armchair, they keep scratching the floor.
Is there any way to modify them or replace them with something softer?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Dec 25, 2022To address the issue of the legs scratching the floor on your MORABO sofa and armchair, you have a few options:
1. Replace the legs with felt or plastic leg protectors. These can be easily attached to the existing chrome-plated steel legs to create a softer surface that won't scratch your floors.
2. Consider purchasing replacement legs made of a different material, such as wood or a matte finish metal, which may be less prone to scratching. IKEA offers a variety of leg options that are compatible with the MORABO series.
3. You can also try placing felt pads or furniture sliders under the existing legs to create a barrier between the legs and the floor. This is a quick and inexpensive solution that may help protect your floors.
Whichever option you choose, be sure to carefully measure the legs and follow the installation instructions to ensure a proper fit and secure attachment to your MORABO furniture

Posted on Oct 04, 2022How do I attach the chrome-plated steel legs to the MORABO sectional sofa?
Is it a simple process or requires any special tools or expertise?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 06, 2022Attaching the chrome-plated steel legs to the MORABO sectional sofa is a relatively simple process that does not require any special tools or expertise. The legs are designed to be easily installed using the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the sofa frame.
Here are the basic steps:
1. Carefully turn the sofa upside down on a soft surface to avoid scratching the fabric.
2. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the sofa frame.
3. Align the legs with the holes and secure them in place using the screws provided.
4. Tighten the screws firmly using a standard screwdriver.
5. Once all the legs are attached, carefully turn the sofa back over and check that it is stable and level.
The entire installation should take less than 30 minutes. If you encounter any issues or have additional questions, refer to the assembly instructions included with your MORABO sectional
