Posted on Dec 29, 2023I purchased the SJÄLLAND Table and 4 armchairs, but one of the chair cushions has started to lose its color. What can I do to restore it or is there a replacement option available?

Answered on Dec 31, 2023The chair cushion cover on the SJÄLLAND outdoor dining set is designed to be fade-resistant, but over time and with exposure to sunlight, the color can start to fade. To restore the color, you have a few options:
1. Try cleaning the cushion cover. Use a mild soap and water solution and gently scrub the cover. This may help revive the original color.
2. If cleaning doesn't work, you can purchase replacement cushion covers from IKEA. The cushion covers are sold separately, so you can order a new one to replace the faded one.
3. As a longer-term solution, you can also consider purchasing a new set of cushions for all the chairs. This will ensure a consistent color across the entire dining set.
The key is to act quickly once you notice fading, as prolonged sun exposure can make it more difficult to restore the original color. Refer to the IKEA website or contact their customer service for ordering replacement cushion covers
