SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
Light, airy design with high legs and slim lines, yet still a great comfort thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be used freestanding or combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.
If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two to your existing combination.

Tallmyra is a hardwearing chenille cover made of cotton and polyester and has a soft surface and a slightly reflective luster.

Answered on Nov 14, 2023The Söderhamn sofa can be used with a recliner without any modifications to the legs. The high, slim legs provide ample clearance for a recliner mechanism to be installed underneath the sofa. The modular design of the Söderhamn series also allows you to combine sections in different configurations, including incorporating a recliner section. As long as the recliner fits within the overall dimensions of the Söderhamn sofa, you should be able to seamlessly integrate it into your desired layout

Posted on Jun 24, 2023I am having trouble getting the seat cushion to stay in place.
Is there a specific way to secure it or is there something missing?

Answered on Jun 26, 2023The seat cushion on the SÖDERHAMN 1-seat section should stay in place without any special securing mechanism. Here are a few things you can try:
1. Ensure the cushion is properly placed on the seat frame. It should fit snugly and not be able to slide around.
2. Check that the elastic webbing in the seat frame is in good condition and providing enough support. If the webbing is worn or loose, it may allow the cushion to shift.
3. Make sure there are no obstructions or uneven surfaces on the seat frame that could cause the cushion to move.
4. Try fluffing and adjusting the cushion to get it seated correctly. Gently push and smooth it into place.
If you've tried these steps and the cushion still won't stay put, there may be an issue with the product itself. I'd recommend contacting IKEA customer service for further assistance
