Posted on Apr 15, 2024I'm having trouble removing the armrests on my Morabo sectional sofa. The screws seem stuck and I've tried applying lubricant but it's still not budging. Do you have any recommendations for how to remove them without damaging the sofa?

Answered on Apr 17, 2024To remove the stuck armrests on your MORABO sectional sofa without causing damage, I recommend the following steps:
1. Ensure you have the right tools. You'll need a screwdriver that fits the screws securing the armrests.
2. Apply a penetrating lubricant or WD-40 directly onto the screw heads and let it soak in for 5-10 minutes. This will help loosen any rust or corrosion.
3. Using the correct screwdriver, try turning the screws slowly and gently. Avoid using excessive force, as this could strip the screw heads.
4. If the screws still won't budge, you can try using a small hammer to gently tap the screwdriver and loosen the screw. Be very careful not to damage the surrounding sofa material.
5. As a last resort, you may need to use a screw extractor tool to carefully remove the stubborn screws. This requires extra care to avoid further damage.
Take your time and work slowly and carefully. With the right tools and techniques, you should be able to remove the armrests without issue
