SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
Light, airy design with high legs and slim lines, yet still a great comfort thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be used freestanding or combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.
If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two to your existing combination.
You can create your own perfect combination with the planning tool. Assemble, take apart and put together again until it’s just right.
The high legs make it easy to clean the floor under the furniture.
This cover is made of Tonerud, a soft polyester fabric with a felt look and a two-toned melange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Posted on Feb 01, 2024I'm having trouble with the elastic weave in the bottom of my Söderhamn chaise. It's getting loose and I'm worried it will break soon. Is there a way to tighten or replace it?

Answered on Feb 03, 2024To tighten the elastic weave in the bottom of your SÖDERHAMN chaise, you can try the following steps:
1. Remove the seat cushion to access the elastic weave underneath.
2. Locate the areas where the elastic weave is loose and use a pair of pliers to gently pull and tighten the weave.
3. If the elastic is severely stretched out, you may need to replace it. You can purchase replacement elastic webbing from IKEA and re-weave it through the frame.
4. Once the elastic is tightened or replaced, put the seat cushion back in place.

The fabric and materials used are not weather-resistant and would not withstand exposure to the elements such as rain, sun, and outdoor conditions. This model is intended for indoor living room or family room settings and should not be placed outdoors
