SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.
Light, airy design with high legs and slim lines, yet still a great comfort thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.
The sofa's sections can be used freestanding or combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.
If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two to your existing combination.
You can create your own perfect combination with the planning tool. Assemble, take apart and put together again until it’s just right.
The high legs make it easy to clean the floor under the furniture.
This cover is made of Tonerud, a soft polyester fabric with a felt look and a two-toned melange effect.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Posted on Sep 01, 2022I've ordered the SÖDERHAMN Sectional, 5-seat, Tonerud red and I'm excited to assemble it. However, I noticed that the instructions don't mention how to attach the legs to the sofa frame. Can you please provide me with a detailed guide on how to do this?

Answered on Sep 03, 2022To attach the legs to the SÖDERHAMN Sectional, follow these steps:
1. Locate the leg brackets that came with the sofa. These are typically metal plates with holes for screws.
2. Position a leg bracket on the underside of the sofa frame, lining up the holes in the bracket with the pre-drilled holes in the frame.
3. Secure the leg bracket to the frame using the screws provided. Make sure the screws are tightened securely.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for the remaining leg brackets, attaching one to each corner of the sofa frame.
5. Once all the leg brackets are in place, simply snap the legs into the brackets. The legs should click into place firmly.
6. Double-check that all the legs are properly attached and the sofa is stable before proceeding with the rest of the assembly.

How long does it take on average for someone with minimal DIY experience to set up the sectional?
Additionally, are there any specific tools or hardware required for assembly?
