And are there any specific cleaning instructions for the dope-dyed Gunnared fabric?

Answered on Aug 02, 2023Yes, the entire top cover of the KIVIK ottoman with storage can be removed for cleaning or replacement. The cover is easy to take off and put on again.
For the dope-dyed Gunnared fabric, the cleaning instructions are:
- Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C/104°F.
- Do not use bleach.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C/300°F.
- Dry cleaning is possible.
The dope-dyed Gunnared fabric is durable and easy to maintain. Following these simple care instructions will help keep your KIVIK ottoman looking its best

Posted on Apr 21, 2023I'm having trouble getting the storage compartment to open. The lid seems stuck and I've tried pulling and pushing it, but nothing is working. Is there a trick or technique I can use to get it to open?

Answered on Apr 23, 2023To open the storage compartment, first ensure that the lid is not locked in place. There should be a small lever or latch underneath the footstool that you need to press or slide to release the lid. Once unlocked, you should be able to lift the lid up easily. If you're still having trouble, double-check that the lever or latch is fully disengaged. Applying a gentle rocking motion while lifting the lid can also help release it if it's stuck. Be careful not to force it open, as that could damage the mechanism. Let me know if the lid still won't budge after trying these troubleshooting steps
