Answered on May 12, 2023To attach the fixed shelf below the changing table to the right or left side, you'll need to follow these steps:
1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the side of the changing table frame where you want to position the shelf.
2. Take the shelf and align the holes on the shelf with the pre-drilled holes on the frame.
3. Use the screws provided in the hardware kit to securely attach the shelf to the frame. Make sure the screws are tightened properly.
There is no specific mechanism required, just the standard screws included in the SMÅSTAD hardware kit. The pre-drilled holes on the frame allow you to attach the shelf on either the right or left side, depending on your preference and the layout of the room
