1. Are the instructions for assembly provided, and if so, are they easy to follow?
2. How often should we clean and maintain the eucalyptus wood to ensure it remains durable and resistant to weathering?
3. Can the chair cushions be washed or cleaned in any way? If not, how do you recommend keeping them stain-free and fresh-looking?

Answered on Apr 11, 20231. The BONDHOLMEN table and chairs come with detailed, easy-to-follow assembly instructions. The instructions provide clear step-by-step guidance with illustrations to help you assemble the furniture correctly.
2. To maintain the durability and weather-resistance of the eucalyptus wood, we recommend cleaning the furniture periodically with a mild soap and water solution. Wipe it down every few months, and apply a thin coat of outdoor wood sealant once a year to protect the wood from the elements.
3. The chair cushions can be spot cleaned as needed using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. For a more thorough cleaning, you can remove the cushion covers and machine wash them on a gentle cycle. Allowing the covers to air dry will help preserve the fade-resistant properties. Regularly flipping and rotating the cushions will also help them stay fresh and stain-free

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the natural oils in the wood. Simply wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap, then rinse and dry thoroughly. For best results, you can also apply a thin layer of outdoor wood oil or sealant periodically to help replenish the natural oils and keep the wood protected. IKEA does not specifically recommend any special cleaning products for this furniture, but a gentle, wood-safe cleaner should be sufficient to keep it looking its best
