To clean the tufted design on the seat cushion, IKEA recommends using a mild, water-based detergent or upholstery cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or scrubbing the cushion too vigorously, as this could damage the fabric and tufting.

For best results, follow these steps:

1. Vacuum the cushion to remove any loose dirt or debris.
2. Mix a small amount of mild detergent with warm water.
3. Dip a clean, soft cloth into the solution and gently blot any stained areas. Avoid rubbing or saturating the fabric.
4. Rinse the cloth and blot the area again to remove any remaining soap.
5. Allow the cushion to air dry completely before use.
