Posted on Jan 19, 2024I purchased the Kivik ottoman with storage and the Gunnared medium gray cover. However, I noticed that the cover doesn't fit perfectly around the ottoman's edges, leaving a small gap. Is it possible to adjust the size of the cover or is there an alternative solution to ensure a snug fit?

Answered on Jan 21, 2024The Kivik ottoman cover is designed to fit snugly around the ottoman, but some minor gapping around the edges is normal. To ensure a tighter fit, you can try the following:
1. Ensure the cover is properly aligned and tucked in around the edges of the ottoman. Gently pull and stretch the fabric to eliminate any loose areas.
2. Over time, the cover may loosen slightly. You can try washing the cover on a gentle cycle, then putting it back on the ottoman while still slightly damp. This can help the fabric shrink and conform better to the shape.
3. As a last resort, you can try using velcro or small clips around the edges to secure the cover in place and eliminate any gaps. Be careful not to damage the fabric when attaching these.
If the gapping is excessive, you may want to consider ordering a replacement cover in the correct size. The Kivik covers are designed to fit the ottomans precisely, so a properly sized replacement should provide a snug, tailored fit
