Posted on Jan 08, 2024I've been using this SÖDERHAMN cover for my ottoman for a few months now, and I'm having trouble getting it to fit snugly again after washing. Are there any tips on how to get it back to its original shape or is it normal for the fabric to lose some of its structure over time?

Answered on Jan 10, 2024The SÖDERHAMN cover is designed to be easy to remove and machine wash, but it's normal for the fabric to lose some of its structure over time with regular use and washing. Here are a few tips to help get the cover back to its original fit:
1. Make sure to wash the cover according to the care instructions - machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. Avoid using high heat which can cause the fabric to shrink.
2. After washing, while the cover is still damp, gently stretch and pull the fabric to help it regain its shape. You can also try putting it back on the ottoman and smoothing out any wrinkles or bunching.
3. If the cover still feels loose after washing and drying, you can try using a fabric stiffener or sizing spray to help restore some of the structure to the material.
With a bit of care, you should be able to get the SÖDERHAMN cover looking and fitting like new again
