Posted on Dec 27, 2023I have the Finalla sleeper sofa with chaise and I'm having trouble opening it up from its folded position. The mechanism seems stuck. Are there any tips or tricks to help loosen it?

Answered on Dec 29, 2023To help loosen the mechanism on your FINNALA sleeper sofa with chaise, try the following steps:
1. Ensure the sofa is in the upright, folded position. Locate the metal mechanism under the seat cushion that allows the sofa to convert to a bed.
2. Gently pull up on the metal mechanism while also pushing down on the seat cushion. This will help disengage the locking mechanism.
3. Once the mechanism is unlocked, slowly and carefully pull the chaise portion out while guiding the backrest to unfold the sofa into the bed position.
4. If the mechanism still feels stuck, try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the moving parts. This can help reduce friction and allow the mechanism to operate more smoothly.
