Posted on Sep 26, 2023I have a Kivik sofa with the Gunnared light brown-pink fabric, but I accidentally spilled something on it and now there's a stain. Can I machine wash the cover? How do I remove the armrests for reupholstering?

Answered on Sep 28, 2023The KIVIK sofa cover with the Gunnared light brown-pink fabric can be machine washed. The cover is designed to be removable and easy to clean. To remove the armrests for reupholstering, simply lift up the armrest and it should detach from the sofa frame. The armrests are removable to allow for easy cover changes or reupholstering. Be sure to follow the washing instructions on the care label to ensure the cover is cleaned properly without any damage

Answered on Mar 09, 2023To remove the armrests on your KIVIK sofa, follow these steps:
1. Locate the screws underneath the armrest. There should be 2-3 screws securing the armrest to the sofa frame.
2. Using a screwdriver, carefully unscrew and remove the screws.
3. Once the screws are out, gently lift and pull the armrest away from the sofa. It should detach easily.
4. Repeat the process for the other armrest if you need to remove both.
