Can I put something like a small ottoman or a storage bin underneath it?

Answered on Nov 24, 2023The HÄRLANDA chaise does come with a storage space under the seat. According to the product description, the height under the furniture is 2 3/8" (6 cm), which should provide enough clearance to fit a small ottoman or storage bin underneath. The storage space under the chaise is accessible through the lid, which stays open for easy access to the contents

Posted on Nov 26, 2022I have the Härlanda chaise and I'm having trouble opening the storage space lid. It's stuck! Is there a trick to freeing it or should I contact customer support?

Answered on Nov 28, 2022The lid of the storage space under the Härlanda chaise can sometimes get stuck. Try gently lifting the lid from the front edge while pushing it back slightly. This should help release the lid. If it's still stuck, you can try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the hinges. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can damage the material. If the issue persists, contact IKEA customer support for further assistance. They'll be able to provide more guidance on safely freeing the stuck lid without causing any damage to the furniture
