Posted on Aug 21, 2023I recently purchased the Härlanda Cover for my sofa section in Ljungen medium gray. I'm having trouble removing the cover from the furniture, as it seems to be stuck or tangled in some way.
Is there a specific technique or method you recommend for taking off and putting on the cover?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Aug 23, 2023To remove the HÄRLANDA cover, start by locating the zippers along the sides and back of the cover. Carefully unzip them, taking care not to force the zipper as it may get stuck. Once the zippers are undone, gently pull the cover away from the sofa frame, working section by section to fully detach it. When re-attaching the cover, align it properly and slowly zip up the zippers, ensuring the fabric is not bunched or twisted. Apply even pressure as you zip to avoid snagging. Take your time and be gentle to prevent any damage to the cover or the sofa

Posted on Dec 09, 2022I purchased this Härlanda cover for my Sofa and I love the material it's made of. However, after using it for a while, I've noticed that it starts to pill or form small balls on the surface.
Is there any way to prevent or remove these pills?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Dec 11, 2022To prevent or remove pilling on the Härlanda cover, you can try the following:
Gently brush the surface with a fabric shaver or pill remover tool to remove any existing pills. Be careful not to press too hard, as this could damage the fabric.
To prevent future pilling, regularly vacuum the cover using the upholstery attachment. This will help remove any loose fibers before they have a chance to form pills.
You can also try using a fabric shaver or lint roller on the cover periodically to remove any new pills as they form. Avoid washing the cover too frequently, as this can contribute to pilling over time

Posted on Oct 15, 2022I love the look of this cover! Can I machine wash and dry it? If so, what are the recommended settings to ensure the cover remains in good condition?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 17, 2022The HÄRLANDA sofa cover can be machine washed and dried, but it's important to follow the care instructions carefully to maintain its condition. Machine wash the cover on a gentle cycle using cold water. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the fabric. For drying, tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid over-drying, as this can cause the fabric to become stiff. To keep the cover looking its best, you may want to iron it on a low heat setting once it's dry
