Posted on Aug 27, 2023Is this cover waterproof or water-resistant? I have pets that like to drink from my coffee mug while sitting on the sofa, so I'd like to know if the cover can withstand accidental spills

Answered on Aug 29, 2023The HÄRLANDA cover is not waterproof or water-resistant. It is made of a natural-based fabric blend of cotton, polyester, and linen, which has a textured surface but is not designed to be fully waterproof. While the cover can be removed and machine washed, it may not be the best option if you have pets that frequently spill liquids on the sofa. You may want to consider a more water-resistant or waterproof slipcover or throw to protect the sofa from accidental spills

Posted on Mar 25, 2023I have the Härlanda Cover for my sofa, but I'm having trouble removing it from the sofa frame. Are there any specific instructions or techniques to help me remove it without damaging the cover or the sofa?

Answered on Mar 27, 2023To remove the Härlanda cover from the sofa frame without damage, first locate the zippers or fasteners on the underside of the cover. Gently unzip or unfasten these to detach the cover from the frame. Be careful not to pull or tug too hard, as this could damage the fabric. Once the fasteners are undone, slowly and evenly lift the cover up and off the sofa. If there are any velcro or snap attachments, carefully peel those apart as well. Take your time and work methodically to remove the cover intact. With a little care, you should be able to take the Härlanda cover off the frame safely
