I recently moved into a new apartment and I'm trying to furnish it with IKEA pieces. I just got the LACK console table, but I noticed that the shelf is a bit loose and can be easily knocked off when I put items on it. Is there a way to secure it better or tighten it up?

The shelf on the LACK console table can sometimes become loose over time. To tighten it up, you can try the following:

1. First, ensure all the screws connecting the shelf to the table frame are properly tightened. Use a screwdriver to gently tighten any loose screws.

2. If the screws seem secure but the shelf is still loose, you can try adding small rubber bumpers or felt pads to the underside of the shelf where it meets the table frame. This will create a tighter fit and prevent the shelf from shifting.

3. As a last resort, you can also apply a small amount of wood glue or furniture glue to the shelf-frame connection points. This will help bond the shelf more securely in place. Allow the glue to fully dry before using the table.

With these simple adjustments, you should be able to stabilize the shelf and prevent it from becoming easily knocked off when placing items on the LACK console table

How do I assemble the LACK console table?
There are no instructions included with the product and I'm having trouble figuring it out on my own. Can you provide me with a link to the assembly instructions or some guidance on how to put it together?
