How do you fold down the table to use it as a shelf? Are there any specific instructions or tips for folding and unfolding the table smoothly and safely?

To fold down the BJURSTA wall-mounted drop-leaf table for use as a shelf:

1. Ensure the table is securely mounted to the wall.
2. Locate the hinges on the underside of the table top.
3. Gently lift the table top, being careful to support its weight.
4. Slowly lower the table top down until it rests against the wall, forming a shelf.

To unfold the table:

1. Lift the table top up, supporting its weight.
2. Carefully raise the top until it clicks into the horizontal position.
3. Ensure the table top is securely locked in place before placing any items on it.

Take care when folding and unfolding the table to avoid pinching fingers. Move slowly and steadily to prevent damage to the hinges or table top
