How do you attach the drop leaves to the table? Is there a mechanism that keeps them from falling off when not in use, or do they need to be stored separately?

The drop leaves on the NORDEN Gateleg table are attached using hinges. There is a mechanism that keeps them from falling off when not in use. The leaves can fold down against the table frame when not needed, so they do not need to be stored separately. The hinges allow the leaves to be easily raised and lowered as required to adjust the table size. This space-saving design is a key feature of the gateleg table

I recently purchased the NORDEN Gateleg table and I'm having trouble adjusting it to the maximum length. The leaves don't seem to be fitting properly and it's causing the table to wobble. Can you provide some tips on how to adjust it correctly?
