A stable construction in solid wood that makes each table unique, with varying grain patterns and natural colour shifts that are part of the charm of wood.
Designed for a perfect match with NORDVIKEN chairs. SKOGSTA, EBBALYCKE and BERGMUND chairs are also good matches with different style expressions.
The 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaves.
The self-storing leaves are easy to insert to extend the table from 4 to 6 and it is just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.
The extension leaves increases the overhang at each end of the table creating generous space for two more people at the short ends.
This spacious, wood dining table has a traditional feel and will soon become a natural gathering place in your home. The sturdy construction and smooth extension mechanism make it a long-lasting favorite.

Posted on Jul 24, 2023I've just assembled my Nordviken extendable table and I love it! However, I'm having trouble with the self-storing leaves. They don't seem to be staying in place properly when extended. Are there any tips or tricks to ensure they stay securely in position?

Answered on Feb 16, 2023To remove the self-storing leaves from the NORDVIKEN extendable table, follow these steps:
1. Fully extend the table to the maximum length.
2. Locate the self-storing leaves underneath the tabletop.
3. Gently pull out the leaves from under the table, one at a time.
4. Once the leaves are removed, you can tuck them away for storage when not in use.
To retract the table back to the minimum length, simply push the tabletop back in, ensuring the self-storing leaves are properly stored underneath

Posted on Oct 15, 2022I recently purchased the Nordviken extendable table in antique stain, but I'm having trouble extending it from 4 to 6 seats. The self-storing leaves won't fit properly and keep falling off during extension. Can you please provide instructions on how to correctly insert the leaves or suggest a solution to this issue?

Answered on Oct 17, 2022To properly extend the NORDVIKEN table from 4 to 6 seats, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the table is on a level surface. The self-storing leaves need to fit snugly into the table top grooves.
2. Locate the self-storing leaves stored underneath the table top. Gently pull them out.
3. Align the leaves with the grooves on the table top, making sure the edges fit flush. Apply even pressure to click the leaves into place.
4. Slowly extend the table, guiding the leaves as they slide out. Make sure they remain securely in the grooves.
5. If the leaves still feel loose, try adjusting their position slightly until they lock into place properly.
If you continue to have issues, inspect the table top grooves for any debris or damage that may be preventing a secure fit. With a little patience, you should be able to extend your NORDVIKEN table smoothly
