Article number: 804.619.45
The air purifier can be set to auto mode, which means that it automatically detects the particles (PM2.5) in the air and then adjusts the fan speed, so you can think about other things.
Our air purifiers are AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) certified. This means that all air purifiers from IKEA are thoroughly tested to ensure efficiency in the disposal of harmful allergens like tobacco smoke, dust and pollen.
Make the most of STARKVIND in the IKEA Home smart app using DIRIGERA hub. Adjust fan speed, check current air quality status, set timers and create scenes with your other smart home products.
With the IKEA Home smart app, you can turn on your air purifiers even when you're away – to make sure the air quality is good when coming home.
You can sleep with the air purifier on since it is very quiet at the lower fan speeds. If connected to the IKEA Home smart app, you can also turn the LED light off on the unit when going to sleep.
You can hide the cable in one of the table legs and inside the air purifier to avoid cable clutter.
Both a side table and an air purifier that improves the indoor air quality. STARKVIND can be adjusted manually, set to auto mode or be connected to DIRIGERA hub for full control via IKEA Home smart app.

Posted on Apr 28, 2023How do I clean the air purifier filter and how often should I replace it?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Apr 30, 2023To clean the air purifier filter:
1. Turn off the air purifier and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the filter cover on the back of the unit and remove it.
3. Take out the filter and gently vacuum or wipe it clean using a soft cloth. Avoid using water or any cleaning solutions.
4. Once cleaned, reinsert the filter and replace the cover.
As for replacing the filter, it's recommended to do so every 6-12 months, depending on usage and indoor air quality. You may need to replace it more frequently if the air purifier is used in a high-dust environment. Monitor the filter and replace it when it appears dirty or the air purifier's performance starts to decline

Posted on Jan 26, 2023Can I set a timer on the STARKVIND table to turn off the air purifier after a certain period of time? And is it possible to connect multiple STARKVIND tables to the DIRIGERA hub for controlling multiple rooms?

Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 28, 2023Yes, you can set a timer on the STARKVIND table to turn off the air purifier after a certain period of time. The IKEA Home smart app allows you to create timers and schedules for the STARKVIND air purifier, so you can program it to automatically turn off after a specified duration.
As for connecting multiple STARKVIND tables to the DIRIGERA hub, this is also possible. The DIRIGERA hub can support multiple IKEA Home smart devices, including multiple STARKVIND tables, allowing you to control the air purifiers in different rooms from the IKEA Home smart app. This gives you the flexibility to manage the air quality throughout your home

Posted on Sep 15, 2022I have the Starkvind table with air purifier, but I'm having some issues with it not turning on automatically in auto mode. The fan always starts at maximum speed even when set to auto. How do I troubleshoot this issue?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 17, 2022To troubleshoot the issue with the Starkvind table not turning on automatically in auto mode, please try the following steps:
1. Ensure the Starkvind table is properly connected to the DIRIGERA hub and the IKEA Home smart app. Check that the app can detect the air purifier and that the auto mode function is enabled.
2. Verify that the air quality sensors inside the air purifier are working correctly. You can try cleaning the sensors gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust buildup.
3. Check if the air purifier's firmware is up-to-date. You may need to update the firmware through the IKEA Home smart app to ensure proper auto mode functionality.
4. As a last resort, you can try resetting the air purifier by unplugging it from the power source, waiting for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in. This can help resolve any software-related issues.
If the problem persists after trying these troubleshooting steps, you may need to contact IKEA customer support for further assistance
