Posted on May 27, 2023I recently purchased the TROTTEN drawer unit and I'm having trouble locking it. The drawer seems to be slightly misaligned and when I try to lock it, the mechanism doesn't catch properly. Is there a specific adjustment that I can make to get the drawer aligned correctly?

Answered on May 29, 2023To align the drawer and get the locking mechanism to work properly, try the following steps:
1. First, fully open the drawer and examine the alignment. Check if the drawer is sitting evenly in the frame and not tilted to one side.
2. If the drawer is misaligned, you can try adjusting the glides. There are small screws on the drawer slides that allow you to raise or lower the drawer. Gently tighten or loosen these screws to shift the drawer into the correct position.
3. Once the drawer is aligned, test the locking mechanism again. Make sure the latch is engaging properly with the lock on the frame.
4. If the latch still doesn't catch, you may need to adjust the position of the lock itself. There are screws holding the lock in place that you can loosen slightly, then shift the lock left or right until the latch clicks into place securely.
Take your time and make small adjustments until you get the drawer aligned and the lock functioning correctly. Let me know if you have any other questions
