Create unique and varied patterns on your BESTÅ with the help of the visible grains on HEDEVIKEN doors.
It’s easy to keep the cords from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cord outlets at the back of the TV bench.
The cable outlet at the top lets cords run down smoothly into the TV bench.
You can choose to use either the soft-closing or push-open function. The push-opener lets you open the doors with just a light push, while the soft-closing hinges makes sure they close silently and softly.
The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.
Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.
It’s not only the TV that’s smart! BESTÅ TV units combine contemporary good looks with practical function. You get lots of storage space and relief from cables that tend to get messy and gather dust.

Posted on Jul 16, 2023I'm trying to assemble my BESTÅ TV bench and the doors don't fit properly. They're about a quarter of an inch off from closing fully. Is there a way to adjust the hinges or is this a manufacturing defect?

Posted on Jul 17, 2022I have a Bestå TV bench with the Hedeviken doors and I'm experiencing some issues with the soft-closing hinges. They don't seem to be functioning properly, and the doors are quite heavy when opening and closing. Is there any way to adjust or repair these hinges?

Answered on Jul 19, 2022The soft-closing hinges on the BESTÅ TV bench with Hedeviken doors can be adjusted to address the issues you're experiencing with the heavy opening and closing of the doors.
First, check that the hinges are properly installed and secured to the cabinet and door. Over time, the screws can become loose, causing the hinges to not function as intended.
If the hinges are properly installed, you can try adjusting the tension on the soft-close mechanism. There is typically a small screw or lever on the hinge that controls the closing force. Turning this screw clockwise will increase the tension and make the doors close more smoothly. Adjust in small increments until you find the right balance.
Additionally, ensure that the doors are properly aligned within the cabinet frame. If they are not aligned correctly, it can cause binding and make the doors feel heavy to open and close. You may need to make minor adjustments to the door hinges to properly align the doors.
If these adjustments do not resolve the issue, the soft-close hinges may need to be replaced. Replacement hinges are readily available and can be easily installed
