The freestanding cabinet is perfect to use as a divider between different activities in the same room. Creates privacy without blocking the workspace entirely and is great for small and large areas.
The back wall of the cabinet can be mounted to the back or middle of the cabinet if you want the cabinet to be accessible from both sides, with sliding doors on one side and open shelves on the other.
The sliding doors are lockable, so you can keep your private belongings safe.
You can adjust your storage according to your needs, as the shelves are adjustable.
You can transform an area into a creative space for workshops by mounting TROTTEN notice board between the shelves. Lock it with the notice board's fittings to ensure that it hangs firmly in place.
By mounting TROTTEN notice board to the cabinet, you can easily switch between an open and more private space. The notice board absorbs sound, thereby reducing the risk of being disturbed by colleagues.
TROTTEN double-sided cabinet with open and closed storage is accessible from both sides – perfect as a room divider. You can create a workshop space by mounting TROTTEN notice board to the cabinet.

Posted on Jul 08, 2023I am trying to assemble the TROTTEN Cabinet combination but having trouble attaching the back wall to the middle of the cabinet. The holes don't seem to line up properly. Is there a specific way to align the back wall or is it supposed to be loose?

Answered on Jul 10, 2023To properly attach the back wall to the middle of the TROTTEN Cabinet combination, follow these steps:
1. Ensure all the hardware and fittings provided in the package are accounted for. Double-check the assembly instructions to make sure you have the correct parts.
2. When positioning the back wall, make sure it is aligned correctly with the cabinet frame. The holes on the back wall should line up with the pre-drilled holes on the cabinet.
3. If the holes do not seem to align properly, try loosening the screws on the cabinet frame slightly. This may provide enough flexibility to get the back wall positioned correctly.
4. Once the back wall is aligned, firmly tighten all the screws to secure it in place. The back wall should not be loose when properly installed.
If you continue to have issues with the alignment, double-check the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance
