You can choose to place the cabinet on the floor or mount it on the wall to free up floor space.
Assembly is quick and easy, thanks to the wedge dowel that clicks into the pre-drilled holes.
This clever little cube is always ready to lend a hand, whether it’s storing, displaying or emptying your pockets. Choose legs/feet to place it on the floor or suspension rails for mounting on the wall.

Posted on Feb 27, 2024I'm having trouble assembling the EKET cabinet, specifically with the wedge dowel not clicking into the pre-drilled holes. Can you provide any tips or troubleshooting steps to help me get it assembled correctly?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Feb 29, 2024The issue with the wedge dowel not clicking into the pre-drilled holes is likely due to misalignment or the holes not being drilled properly. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you assemble the EKET cabinet correctly:
1. Double-check that all the pre-drilled holes are clean and free of any obstructions.
2. Ensure the wedge dowels are inserted straight into the holes, not at an angle.
3. Apply a small amount of pressure when pushing the wedge dowels into the holes to help them click into place.
4. Verify that the cabinet panels are properly aligned before attempting to insert the wedge dowels.
5. If the holes seem too small, you can try gently enlarging them using a drill bit slightly larger than the dowel diameter.
If you continue to have issues, refer to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance. They should be able to provide additional guidance to help you get your EKET cabinet assembled correctly

Answered on Oct 31, 2023Yes, the EKET cabinets can be connected together to create a larger storage solution. The cabinets have a simple design that allows them to be stacked or placed side-by-side to expand the storage space as needed. The pre-drilled holes and included hardware make it easy to securely attach multiple cabinets together. This provides flexibility to customize the storage to fit your specific space and needs, whether you want a single cabinet or combine several for a larger unit

Posted on Aug 04, 2023I have a few issues with my EKET cabinet. The wall mount screws don't seem to be long enough to reach the studs in my wall, and the legs/feet that came with it are slightly bent. Can I purchase replacement parts for these?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Aug 06, 2023To address the issues with your EKET cabinet:
For the wall mount screws not reaching the studs, you can purchase longer screws from your local hardware store. Make sure to get screws that are long enough to securely anchor into the wall studs.
As for the bent legs/feet, IKEA does offer replacement parts for EKET cabinets. You can visit the IKEA website or contact their customer service to order replacement legs/feet. Provide them with the product details, and they should be able to send you the correct replacement parts
