Posted on Mar 16, 2024I'm trying to assemble the Rönninge/Lisabo table with 4 chairs, but I'm having trouble getting the legs of the table to fit together properly. The screws seem to be too short and I'm worried about damaging the wood. Are there any additional parts or hardware that I may have missed during assembly?

Answered on Mar 18, 2024The legs of the RÖNNINGE / LISABO table should be easy to assemble with only one screw per leg. If you're having trouble getting the legs to fit together properly and the screws seem too short, there are a few things you can try:
First, double-check that you have all the necessary hardware included in the package. The screws provided should be the correct length to securely attach the legs without damaging the wood.
If the screws still seem too short, you can try using slightly longer wood screws that are the same diameter. Be careful not to overtighten, as this could split the wood.
Additionally, ensure that the pre-drilled holes in the table top are properly aligned with the legs. If the holes don't line up, you may need to carefully re-drill them to get a proper fit.
Take your time during assembly and follow the step-by-step instructions carefully. If you continue to have issues, contact IKEA customer service for further assistance

Posted on Dec 15, 2023I'm trying to assemble the RÖNNINGE/LISABO table and I'm having trouble getting one of the legs to screw in properly. The hole seems too small for the screw.
Is there a trick or solution to this issue?

Answered on Dec 17, 2023The issue you're experiencing with the leg not screwing in properly is likely due to the wood grain or a slightly misaligned pre-drilled hole. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Ensure the pre-drilled hole is clear of any debris or obstructions. You can try gently clearing it out with a thin tool.
2. Apply a small amount of beeswax or furniture wax to the screw threads. This can help the screw thread into the wood more easily.
3. Try slightly angling the screw as you start threading it into the hole. This can help guide the screw into the proper alignment.
4. If the hole still seems too small, you can carefully drill it out slightly larger using a drill bit slightly larger than the screw diameter. Be careful not to drill too much.
Let me know if any of those suggestions help resolve the issue with getting the leg properly secured. Taking it step-by-step should help you get that leg attached correctly
