Posted on May 12, 2023I'd like to know if it's possible to attach a glass table top to this underframe, and if so, what kind of adhesive or fastening system is recommended for a secure hold?

Answered on May 14, 2023The BEKANT underframe is designed to be compatible with IKEA table tops, including glass options. To attach a glass table top securely, we recommend using a silicone-based adhesive specifically formulated for bonding glass to metal. Apply the adhesive evenly to the underframe's top surface, then carefully position and press the glass tabletop into place. Allow the adhesive to fully cure as per the manufacturer's instructions for a strong, durable hold. This method will provide a secure attachment while preventing any damage to the glass surface
