Posted on Apr 06, 2024I'm having trouble adjusting the drop-leaf mechanism. How do I release the lock to extend or retract the table leaf?

Answered on Apr 08, 2024To release the lock and extend or retract the table leaf, follow these steps:
1. Locate the locking mechanism on the underside of the table top, near the edge of the drop-leaf.
2. There should be a small lever or button that needs to be pressed or pulled to disengage the lock.
3. While holding the lever/button, gently lift or lower the drop-leaf to the desired position.
4. Once the leaf is in the desired position, release the lever/button to lock the leaf in place.
Ensure you apply even pressure when lifting or lowering the leaf to prevent any binding or damage to the mechanism. If you still have trouble, refer to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance
